Term 3 - Week 5

We took our enrichment activities down to Natureland.

The animals had a GREAT time exploring and playing with them.

Term 3 - Week 4

 We started making our enrichment activities for the 

animals at Natureland.

We also started our measurement unit by using our rulers to measure objects in the classroom using centimetres.

 We went outside for P.E with Nathan from 

the 'ready, set, go' programme.

 On Wednesday all the year three and four students went outside to work on their enrichment activities together.

 We got out the metre rulers and measured things around the school such as the length and width of our pool.

We also estimated the length or height of things in the playground and then checked how close our estimates were.

Term 3 - Week 3

 Our little pea plants are growing thanks to the 

care of the dolphins reading group.

We have been looking at fractions in maths.
We have been using materials to work out halves, thirds and quarters of small numbers.

We begin each day with our waiata and students take turns to go up the front and lead the actions.

Term 3 - Week 1

 The Dolphins reading group were reading about growing seeds so we planted some sugar snap peas of our own.
