Our tadpoles from the beginning of the term are now
amazing Green and Golden Bell Frogs.
The class have done well hunting flies to feed them.

We did some research on the different kinds of fish that live in
the sea surrounding New Zealand.
Some of the more unusual ones we found were
the Ghost Shark and the Black Oreo.

We went to the Suter Art Gallery, we saw some clay artwork created by Maori artists.
Then we got to have a go making little people out of clay.

Term 1 - Week 5

We went to the ASB Aquatics Centre to do some
deep water survival skills.

Mrs Pearson came in to read us a story
Sarah came in to talk to us about how we can reduce the amount of packaging (that later ends up in our landfills) in our lunch boxes.
We had a look at some student's lunchboxes that were really good examples of zero waste.
